A brief history of Reefcast:
Marc, who had been toying with idea of podcasting for sometime, was researching the technology unsuccessfully. Evan was already a regular podcast subscriber and was considering producing one, but was frustrated deciding upon a worthy topic. In the early days of 2006, a sudden career change forced Evan to move back in the vicinity of the legendary "Melev".
Late-night banter over the phone was all it took to make the connection. Things moved quickly from that point and before the sun even rose, Evan had nailed down the domain name. After a few aimless victory laps around the computer, Reefcast.com was born. Like a giddy school girl, Evan interrupted Marc from his slumber and relayed the news.
Two microphones, hours of editing by Evan, lots of whining by Marc, and a bottle of Crown Royal later, Reefcast was ready to go public.
